3. Setting the Time:
A. To turn on the system press the STANDBY button. To turn off, press the STANDBY button again.
Note: The backlight does not change when unit is turned on or in standby mode. When unit is in standby mode only the time and oblique icon will be shown on the display.
B. To begin the time setting process, press and hold the SNOOZE/TIME button until the digits start to flash.
C. Use the VOL/TUNE+/- buttons to toggle through options and press SNOOZE/TIME button to make
selections for 12/24 hour clock, year, month, day, hour and minute.
4. Setting the Alarm:
Note: The process below is the same for ALARM 1 and ALARM 2.
A. Press and hold the ALARM 1 button until the hour digit starts to flash. Use the VOL/TUNE+/- buttons to set the hour and then press the ALARM 1 button again to move forward to set the minutes.
B. Press the ALARM 1 button again to select the alarm volume. Use the VOL/TUNE+/- buttons to increase/decrease the alarm volume level.
C. Press the ALARM 1 button again to select the alarm function. Use the VOL/TUNE+/- buttons to wake to the beep alarm, FM Radio or iPod/iPhone music.
Note: When selecting the alarm function you will see the choices displayed as:
Beep Alarm = “8U22”, FM Radio = “FM”, iPhone/iPod = “iPod”.
D. Ensure the ALARM 1 icon is showing on the display. To turn off the alarm press the ALARM 1 button once and the icon will disappear from the display screen.
E. When the alarm sounds you can press the SNOOZE/TIME button to temporarily stop the alarm. The alarm will sound again 5 minutes from the time the SNOOZE/TIME button if pressed.
F. If the alarm sounds and you do not press the SNOOZE/TIME button, the alarm will sound for 5 minutes and then stop. The alarm will not ring again. If the alarm is set to iPod/iPhone mode then it will sound for 30 minutes.
Note: Please ensure you test the selected alarm volume when waking to iPod/iPhone/FM Radio to make sure the selected volume level is loud enough to wake to.
