Question

Sky Rover Digital Proportional R/C Coaxial Helicopter

I am now on my second of these helicopters and neither one of them have worked. I have charged the unit as suggested, and put new batteries in the transmitter. I turn the helicopter on, and all that happens is that the LED lights flash. When I turn the transmitter on, the only indication of anything happening is that the Red LED on the unit blinks. A search about this issue has not returned any hits. Before I try another unit, is there something to the blinking lights? Are there any other known issues, as I need to seriously am considering just getting a refund.
Thanks for your help.

Try moving the left stick on your controller up and down a couple times. This is needed on some units to pair up the controller and heli.

From my expereience, turn on the helicopter turn on the controller. The controller light will be blinking. Then move the left hand control(throttle) all the way up and then back down. The light on the control should now be on. Now everyhthing should be working. If not it's beyond me.

Someone asked about wrist pins - is that the little connector between the top stabilizer and the top propelor. Mine has one and now has no control.

Yes, that is the problem. If you bought the Heli at a store learn from that and buy from Larger Hobby shops. You need two for proper control.Be careful installing the new one as the pin is fragile. Your local Hobby shop should be able to help if your store can't. Stores like The Source don't stock parts but usually deal with reliable companies that do have the parts. Check with them first.

Hi there, the helicopter actually only ships with one wrist pin between the equilibrium bar and the top set of blades. if you crashed it recently i would check the top blade's stabilization joint that is connected to the spinning rotor bar that actually turns the blades.. it may be broken.
