You can download your books onto the ereader, into it's internal memory or onto a micro SD card so that you can read it anywhere.
Public libraries have tons of books you can load onto your device for portability. Their websites will have any necessary software you need to download. I download the books onto my pc, then transfer them to my device or save them onto the SD card.

With the programs that you use to download your books onto your computer , I use them when I open my computer I find my external drive and transfer the books to it. Currently all my books are on my SD card leaving the original memory on my hipstreet empty.

After you connect reader to computer - with black end of USB cable because red end goes into charger- two drives should come up. One for Internal Memory and the other for External, or SD, Memory. You could try drag and drop but I haven't yet so don't know if it will work. Hope this helps.

it lasts at least a month, pending usage. Battery is only used with page turning or options being selected. It looks like screen is on when in sleep mode or power off but it's not really using anything as per Ink technology. So far I havent had to charge mine and it's been over a week or more.

For such a small, inexpensive device, the results were pretty good. Playing a sample .avi file on a continuous loop had the battery lasting approximately 4hr : 45min.

Question

Is there cases for this reader?

I have purchased one and would like a case to keep it in and protect the screen when it's not being used, but I can't find any that are specific for this reader. Are there any that will fit?

There are snapbacks and journal cases where they hold eReader on one side and a flip cover and a snap. I have seen them online and The Source seems to carry only one of these journal type cases. They run from $20-$30. Other stores might have a selection.
